Who writes

Every piece of long-form content (learn articles, ranking commentary, methodology pages) is written or reviewed by a named author. See /about/authors/douya.

AI assistance

We use large language models (Claude, primarily) to produce first drafts and to scan for obvious errors. Every draft is then fact-checked line-by-line against the original source. Specifically:

• Every number in a company report is verified against the cited SEC filing before publish
• Every claim about a company's business model is verified against the 10-K Business section
• Every quote from a 10-K is a direct quote, not a paraphrase

AI output never ships without this verification pass.

Fact-check standard

• Numeric claim: traces to a line in a filing (or a clearly-documented derived metric)
• Qualitative claim: traces to MD&A, Risk Factors, or footnote text
• Forward-looking claim: caveated and attributed to management (not our projection)

Conflict of interest

As of 2026-04-14, EarningsMoat has no paid partnerships, affiliate links, or sponsored content.

If that changes, we will disclose it sitewide and on affected pages. If a future ranking, comparison, or commentary page involves a material personal holding by the author, that holding should be disclosed on the page itself.
